Due to the interdisciplinary nature of our projects, students from many different scientific backgrounds contribute to our research goals. We have students working successfully on unique projects with backgrounds in chemical engineering, environmental engineering, chemistry, biology, and environmental science.
Undergraduates interested in summer research are encouraged work with Dr. Parker to apply for the following programs:

- WashU Summer Undergraduate Research Award
- WashU Summer Engineering Fellowship
Undergraduate and Master’s students interested in independent study credits should contact Dr. Parker one term prior to when they want to conduct the research (preferred) or within two days of the start of the research term.
